Russell the Muscle was at it again last night. While this team continues to struggle to find itself offensively, Branyan just keeps mashing AAA pitching. Bill Hall has looked alarmingly bad at the plate against righties. Branyan needs to be on the major league roster.
I'd demote Gwynn so he can play everyday in AAA. You have Kapler as you're fourth outfielder, and while far from gold-glovers, both Branyan and Dillon can play both corner spots in the outfield. Get Gwynn and recently reacquired Callix Crabbe as many at-bats as possible in AAA. I just hate seeing young guys sit on the bench, getting an appearance a week.
This team needs a left handed power bat besides Prince's. Get Branyan up here and give him regular ABs against righties.
