Yost already fired?

The Badger Blogger claims that according to sources, Yost will be relieved of his duties today.


I have no idea how much credibility he/she has, but it's interesting that a non-Brewers/sports blog is claiming this. Maybe they do know someone inside the organization, but it could be all BS. The last time the blogosphere jumped on a Brewers rumor, it was about a Ryan Braun contract extension and proved to be accurate.

Furthermore, when you read between the lines, Doug Melvin said he was heading to Nashville to take a look at some players to see if there was any help there. Perhaps he was also taking a look at the manager, Frank Kremblas? The Badger Blogger claims Ted Simmons would becoming manager and perhaps Melvin would appoint Kremblas bench coach. It makes more sense to be in Nashville to have talks with Kremblas than to "take a look at some players." The cupboard is pretty dry there and I doubt that Melvin's only motive.

If this is true, I'm buying the drinks at the Safe House tonight.
