Apparently Ludacris Writes for SI.COM

This article is getting a ton of attention in the Brewers blogosphere, and rightfully so.

Wow. I want to give Sheehan the benefit of the doubt and say he's joking, but after reading the whole article I'm pretty sure he's serious. First off, how can you proclaim the Cubs as the head and shoulders best team in the NL just yet? The Brewers are coming on strong and look at what Sabathia did.

Secondly, while Branyan did help us out immediately upon his callup, you're labeling him the guy that saved our season, and not some hefty lefty who's been nearly unhittable and has tossed three complete games?

Lastly, the Braves? Are you joking? I like how he mentions the Braves have to decide whether or not to deal Texiera like the Indians did Sabathia, and then proclaims they should win the Wild Card. First off, the Braves won't win the wild card even if they keep Texiera. Second, they're behind three teams right now and under .500. Who cares that they're only 6.5 games out (thats still a fairly big defecit, especially considering how hot the Mets are getting), if they're smart they'll trade Texiera.

I wonder if Jermaine Dupree co-authored this article.

I think the Branyan comment is reasonable. He really stepped up in late May and early June with some big hits, many of them extra base hits.
