15-20. That's the Brewers record at home the past three seasons when wearing the fan favorite, cling onto the 1982 team for as long as we can retro uniforms at Miller Park. I actually thought the Crew's record was worse than that when suiting up in the pinstripes on Sundays (in 2006) and Friday's from 2007 to present, but when you consider the Crew's overall stellar home record, doesn't it seem odd, that something so simple can be zeroed in on? This team has been terrific at home the past few years. In fact, they owned the NL's best home record in 2007, yet could only compile a 5-8 record on Friday's at Miller Park.
The players have repeatedly said they aren't the biggest fans of trotting out of the dugout in the 82 team's uniforms because they like what they have going with the current team. You know, that team that just rattled off eight straight victories in their normal uniforms before Brian Anderson said "the Brewers are the only team without a blemish post All-Star Break" during the fifth inning, when wearing the throwbacks.
This is a talented and contending team in 2008, quit handcuffing them to the early 80's when half of the roster wasn't even born and let them play their game in their uniforms. Now.
