Ryan Braun Placed on 60 day DL

Kansas City made room on its 40-man roster Friday by recalling right-hander Ryan Z. Braun and placing him on the 60-day disabled list. Braun is recovering from an April 22 elbow surgery. I know what you're thinking: This post was nothing more than a dirty trick. I felt the same way when my heart skipped a beat the moment I saw "Braun placed on 60 day DL" on the CBSSportsline website. It made me realize how much the crew would miss his bat.
