Favre vs Glazer
Favre's take
Favre said a lot more in the press conference, a lot more interesting stuff at that too, speaking about the length of the conversation and where and when it took place. That was obviously not included in this clip. I'm still searching for it and will update this if I can come across it.
By no means do I hate Brett Favre, as I'm sure this site looks like it does. Brett Favre was my all-time favorite athlete. Favre and Thompson and the rest of the organization were both in the wrong, we're not going to get into again. I don't totally blame Brett for the break up, but I do blame him for acting petty and not letting things go. You're in New York, you've supposedly moved on, act like it.
That being said, I feel like we've devoted way too much time and attention to this and all things Brett Favre since July, so I'm officially moving on from this as well. Lets just remember Brett Favre for all the good he gave us, the Monday Night Performace in Oakland, the OT winner to Jennings, the record tying TD against San Diego, the record breaker in Minnesota, the touchdown to Rison in the Super Bowl, etc.
Remember the good and move on.

Somewhere Hags is just beaming.
What about the Wranglers commercials? Let's not forget that. And his role in "There's Something about Mary".
Hey Todd-yes, this story has indeed taken on a life of it's own. The thing is that I like Jay Glazer-always liked his "scoops," but I am starting to wonder if there was something of an alternative motive. I've heard the whole "school girl" term in regards to Favre or whatever, but I am starting to wonder if Glazer was the one who was being a little girl in this one. It's beginning to look like he dramatized this a little worse that what it was. I mean, when you think about it, what's the big deal if he simply talked to Matt Millen and some of the information regarded his old team.
Millen probably can't remember anything, and his staff, (at least it was his staff at the time) is probably too incompetent to have gained anything useful anyway.
Like I said, I don't know if we'll ever know the whole truth, I am guessing that it's somewhere in between what Glazer said and what Favre said. But I'm with Justin on this one, I'd rather just get beyond it now because frankly, I think it's somewhat petty, and maybe even irrelevant if you happen to believe more of Favre's side. I think it's shitty if he spent an hour to "sabotage" the Packers, but I really don't think it went down like that. Maybe I'm naive, maybe I'm a Favre homer, or maybe I just don't care too much about something that is non related to the Packers at this point. Most likely, it's a combination of the three.
