Big Red Rally

I grabbed tonight at the Italian Community Center's Cafe La Scala. The "Big Red Rally," a UW Badgers raffle/rally/event was taking place in the conference rooms. A portion of the band was there and seemed to be behaving themselves.

Upon entrance to the ICC, I had no idea what was going on but was obviously drawn to the commotion so I went to check it out. After a quick lap around I didn't think it was anything special and hit the men's room before heading back to the Cafe for dinner. In the bathroom was Travis Beckum on crutches wearing a Steve Harvey type of suit talking with some Rich Johnny Badger donor.

Beckum detailed that he'll be on crutches for three to four more weeks and has full intentions of being at the NFL Combine.
Beckum was on hand because he was the recipient of the 2008 Lloyd Larsen Award. While I have no idea what award it is for Badgers football players, but Tyler Donovan and Luke Swan won it last year and Joe Thomas in 2006.

Todd, it's disturbing that you were with a guy in the bathroom and you come back and say he's not small. Not sure what to make of this.

While I was referencing his height and weight combination, the following is more disturbing to you: Hags is small, tiny actually.

OK, so who told you?

One of the following:
Mike Hunt (when he wore a suite)
Greg A. Bedard
Larry Beightol
Wally

Hahaha, good shit. Wally, huh? Well, you guys better be ready to eat some donuts or at least a whole pie if you want to hang with this guy.

I got Paris Lenon on standby if things get out of hand.

I'm not going to lie, I used to be very much in love with this hags78 character. It was like we finished....(waiting for you to say each others sentences) and were on the same page with everything. However, your love for Paris Lennon really curbs that love a bit. I'd still probably give you a hojo though.

I'm still a bit flabergasted at how many dounuts you took down during that game.

I'm doing stats for 620 for the final two games, so we'll need you in the Milwaukee area over the holidays for our Inaugural Brew Town Beat Shareholders meeting.
